GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men’s and women’s swimming and diving for the week ending Jan. 13. This week’s awards honor a pair of student-athletes from SUNY Cobleskill.

Dan Mullen (Oswego, N.Y.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after leading his team to a 76-56 win at Bard College. The Fighting Tigers’ sophomore recorded four first-place finishes at the first meet of 2019. Mullen won the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.07), 100-yard backstroke (1:01.80) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.29). He also swam on the 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed first with a time of 1:46.65.

Katherine Noncarrow (Allendale, N.J.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been named the NEAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week with three individual wins at Bard College over the weekend. Noncarrow earned her third weekly award of the year after finishing first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.46), 100-yard breaststroke (1:21.53) and 500-yard freestyle (5:49.10). The Fighting Tigers’ rookie also swam in the 200-yard freestyle relay with her team winning the event with a time of 2:00.99.
